Polo has now become a US Pony Club Discipline!
Polo has been a discipline of
the British Pony Club for decades. An exciting team sport on
horse back where each team works to send the game ball through a goal,
moving the ball along the ground, by use of a mallet. It is similar in
concept to soccer on horseback. We will have an exciting year ahead of us,
with clinics, practices and rallies. We have designed a rule book that
makes Polo accessible to Pony Club. One horse is all you need to
play!
We will be adding lesson plans, clinician information, and Polo
opportunities. We are also looking for a few more committee members.
